
Quality, system approach and environmental protection have been the major topics of the Members‘ Meeting in Paris
The European Association for ETICS (EAE) invited all member associations to its recent meeting in Paris. President Lothar Bombös opened the conference with the good news that the EAE welcomes two new important representatives of the insulation materials industry at the beginning of 2012: EUMEPS, the European association of EPS manufacturers and EPFA, the European association of phenolic foam manufacturers.
The European Association for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (EAE) has established a Technical Committee (TC) and a Marketing Committee (MC) to promote intercountry collaboration between Member Associations. EAE have set clear objectives and are already working towards these goals.

The “1st International ETICS Forum” organised by the European Association for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (EAE) on 29.9.2010 in Brussels was a huge success. More than 250 participants from all member states heard fascinating presentations and statements about the policy background in Europe, the regulatory framework, innovations and technology and the differing situations in member countries’ markets.
The new website of the European Association for ETICS EAE www.ea-etics.eu was presented for the first time at its Mem-bers’ Assembly in Vienna in October.
At the Members’ Assembly of EAE (European Association for ETICS) held in Vienna in October, the working group preparing a European installation guideline for ETICS presented first results.
Since its creation in 2008, the European Association for ETICS (EAE) has convened several times to create the structure of its bodies and has set concrete objectives in working groups. The number of members has continued to grow, the Netherlands and Slovakia being the latest national ETICS associations to be admitted to EAE.
