
In January 2013 a Japanese delegation took the chance to visit the Munich BAU 2013 exhibition to gat latest information about the European construction market. The EAE was invited to make a special presentation about the European ETICS market.
The EAE member EUMEPS organized the 2013 Master Class conference in Vienna with focus on ETICS. Guest speakers of the EAE contributed to the successful event.
The river Danube is not only the second largest and one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe but also connects 10 European countries, their economies and their culture. Bratislava, the capitol of the Slovak Republic, hosted EAE’s General Meeting 2013.
After the 2nd European ETICS Forum in Strasbourg the EAE held its annual Members‘ Assembly. Delegates decided, due to the actions planned for the future, to increase the number of board members. The new elected EAE Board is truly European and formed by these people: Lothar Bombös, Germany (President), Ruud van Eersel, Belgium (Vice President), Dominique Delassus, France (Budget Affairs), Werther Colonna, Italy (Marketing Affairs) and Dr. Clemens Hecht, Austria (Technical Affairs).
First European Energy Saving Guide presented by EAEDuring the 2nd European ETICS Forum 2012 in Strasbourg the EAE European Association for ETICS presented the first European Energy Saving Guide. Gino Gailliaert, Chairman of EAE’s Marketing Committee, presented the main findings of this study to the audience. After analyzing a variety of studies both at European level and national level, the huge opportunities became obvious, how ETICS may contribute to achieve cornerstones of Europe’s policy. After his speech Gino Gailliaert handed over the first Guides to representatives of the European Commission, Laurent Deleersnyder (DG Energy) and Mikkeli Tapani (DG Enterprise & Industry).

Together we are stronger: 2nd European ETICS Forum in StrasbourgTop guest speakers from all over Europe and a variety of topics will be on the agenda of the 2nd European ETICS Forum in Strasbourg organized by the EAE. Two years after a successful premiere in Brussels industries’ experts from 11 EAE Member States and some other countries will meet again on 25th October 2012 to discuss about current developments and future perspectives of ETICS.
Quality, system approach and environmental protection have been the major topics of the Members‘ Meeting in Paris
The European Association for ETICS (EAE) invited all member associations to its recent meeting in Paris. President Lothar Bombös opened the conference with the good news that the EAE welcomes two new important representatives of the insulation materials industry at the beginning of 2012: EUMEPS, the European association of EPS manufacturers and EPFA, the European association of phenolic foam manufacturers.
The European Association for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (EAE) has established a Technical Committee (TC) and a Marketing Committee (MC) to promote intercountry collaboration between Member Associations. EAE have set clear objectives and are already working towards these goals.
