Application

Reliable thermal insulation of a building's envelopes can be achieved by using External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS).

The application is simple:

1. Applying the
adhesive
2. Insulant
3. Doweling
4. Reinforcement
5. Finishing plaster

The insulation boards are fixed to the outside wall with adhesive, anchors or mechanically with rails. After that they are coated with plaster that has been reinforced with woven glass fibre mesh. The final layer consists of the finishing plaster or the desired surface material.

For more than 50 years, these systems have been continuously developed and improved by manufacturers. Today, External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems can be used for a great variety of buildings.
