This is how external thermal insulation composite systems work

Reliable thermal insulation of a building's outer shell can best be achieved by using state-of-the-art external thermal insulation composite systems for the facade.

The principle is simple:

The insulating boards are fixed to the outside wall with adhesive, dowels or mechanically with rails. They are then coated with plaster that has been reinforced with woven glass fibre mesh. The final layer consists of the finishing plaster or the desired surface material.

Over the past 50 years, these systems have been continuously developed and improved by the manufacturers. Today, external thermal insulation systems can be used in any conceivable building.

The size of the building does not matter:

  • Single-family homes
  • Two-family homes and terraced houses / town house
  • Old buildings
  • Housing areas
  • Office blocks
  • Industrial architecture
  • High-rises
