Objectives

The association has the following objectives and tasks at European level:

Promoting the system approach

• Promoting the creation of and adherence to quality criteria for ETICS in Europe and in the individual member countries by means of appropriate measures
• Committing the member associations and their member companies to the highest possible quality standards regarding the development and marketing of ETICS
• Creating uniform installation guidelines

Expanding the market

• Joint PR to communicate the advantages of ETICS (energy and re-source conservation, ecological advantages)
• Mutual networking to improve the flow of information

 
Political and technical lobbying

• Participation and representation in European standardisation, approval and legislation processes as well as general lobbying with the institutions of the European Union

Research and testing

• Joining forces in research and testing in order to enhance the state of the art in ETICS
• Promoting the development of ETICS into the direction of ecologically sound and economically viable long-term use
