ETICS are amazing!

This is the title of EAE’s new image brochure, presented by Vice President Clemens von Trott at the EAE Members Meeting in Paris on 18. November 2011. The forward is written by EU Commissioner for Energy, Günther Oettinger and the brochure was published very shortly after the founding of the Marketing Committee. Chairman Gino Gailliart, Chairman of the working group ETICS within the Belgian association IVP, and his team not only show the various possibilities for designing facades with ETICS in the brochure but also the huge opportunities for saving heating energy and CO2 emissions; they also illustrate the positive effects on the European labour market by using ETICS for thermal renovation.

First European guideline sets uniform standards for ETICS

The European Association for ETICS (EAE) has achieved one of its most important goals since its foundation in 2008: at the Association’s General Meeting in London at the start of April, the first ever European Guideline for the Application of ETICS was presented to EAE members in the form of a “master guideline”.

Impressions of the "1st European ETICS Forum"
 
The "1st International ETICS Forum" in Brussels on 29.09.2010 was a great success. More than 250 people from all member countries were able to take part in interesting presentations and hear statements about the political requirements in Europe, the situation concerning market regulation, innovative and new technology and the different situations within the various markets of the participating countries. To conclude: WDVS stands for higher energy efficiency, improved climate protection and economic growth in the European construction sector.

EAE – the European Association for External thermal insulation composite systems – is a confederation of national ETICS associations at European level.

The purpose of the association is to promote the Europe-wide use of certified and tried and tested external thermal insulation composite systems in facades of old and new buildings.
